How to Become a Teenage Author

I finally gained the courage to film my very first video, in which I share a little about my publishing journey and how you can become published as well. This is actually my third attempt at filming a video, so it would be great if you could let me know what you think! =)

Also, please don't forget to like the video and subscribe to my channel. Thanks!

(Please ignore the fact that my forehead is cut off. My editing program decided to chop it off for some reason ... lol)

  1. I love your blog and the preview of your book. You're really inspiring.

This is something I've recently been confused about: Do you have to have an agent to get published? I've heard teen Christian authors say its almost impossible to get published without an agent these days. Can you tell me what you think?

    Thank you so much!

  4. I read your book and it was amazing, I'm also writing fiction novel. I already wrote 15,000 words, but I don't know how long the average book is. How many words is your novel?

    1. Thanks, Aili! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. =)

My novel was approx. 80,000 words. My second novel is about 90,000 words. However, a YA novel is usually between 50k and 80k. They're often longer though, especially fantasy novels.

Hope that helps! I'll be sure to expand on this a bit more in my next video blog.
