Viewing Your Life Through Spiritual Eyes

"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."

When I was a teen, making decisions concerning what I felt was God’s will for my life became complicated at times. I knew the direction God was leading me, yet doubts would take root any time I compared my life to those around me. I started to wonder: Shouldn’t my life look more like theirs? Am I really following God’s will for my life? When this happened, my eyes became so adjusted to the world around me that the direction God had given me became fuzzy and unclear.
