How to Make Inspiration Boards for Your Novel

One of my favorite ways to conquer writer's block is by creating a visual representation of my story--whether that is through a Pinterest board, a music playlist, or a physical writing inspiration/story board.

I recently got together with YA author, Caroline George, to discuss our writing boards and share tips on how you can create one as well. =)

I hope you enjoy! Let me know in the comments if you have ever made an inspiration board or if you plan to create one in the future.

  1. I have always wanted to make an inspiration board! I've just never had the…well…INSPIRATION to follow through with it. Anyway, ya'll have inspired me (BIG THANKS!) and I've already started it. (Seriously, I immediately took off after watching your video to find cardboard :D) How can I share a photo of it with you when it's finished?

  2. I didn't used to pin things and make playlists until recently, I was surprised how much they help. Whenever I lack inspiration I can always find it listening to the songs I saved or going to my boards.
