Today is the Anniversary of PURPLE MOON's release! {+Giveaway Winners!}

I can't believe it's already been a year since my book released! It feels like just yesterday I received this in the mail:

Looking back, I am in awe at how God has blessed me this year. Not necessarily because my dream has come true, but because He has used my book and my platform to minister to so many . . . which is the number one reason why I write.

That is why I have chosen to celebrate this anniversary by offering the Giving a Gift of a Story Giveaways

Thank you so much to everyone who chose to nominate their friend for this contest! Unfortunately, I could only choose one winner (which was very difficult for me).

However, if you didn't win, you can still gift Purple Moon to your friend by sending them a print or ebook copy (which is only $3.49!).

And the winner is . . .

Sarah R.!

Thank you so much, Sarah, for nominating your friend! You should receive an email from me today with details. =)

Sarah R.!

Wow! I did not plan for you to win both the contest and the giveaway, Sarah. I'd already chosen you to win the contest and I just raffled your name for the giveaway. (Since you had asked me not to reveal your last name, I didn't post the widget.)

Well congratulations again, Sarah! I hope you and your friend enjoy the prizes. =)

Also, thanks so much to everyone who participated in both of these giveaways!

On my personal blog--Life, Lattes, and the Lord--I discuss a few highlights from this past year, updates on my writing journey, and I even give you a peak into some “books” I wrote when I was little.

So be sure to check out the post below!

And in the comments, please let me know what you think the surprise announcement is.

This time last year, I was experiencing a mixture of feelings: Nervousness. Excitement. Fear.
Nervous about stepping out of my shell to do interviews and book signings.
Excited about the possibilities surrounding my new release (and the fact that it was actually happening!).
And afraid–terrified, actually–of what people might think about my book.
